Ghana: The Catalyst Fund Inclusive Digital Commerce Accelerator by BFA Global is taking applications from innovative start-ups (including health-tech start-ups) that are building solutions designed to improve the livelihoods and financial resilience of micro and small enterprises. Selected companies will receive flexible grant capital of up to $120,000, tailored venture acceleration support and network access to a global circle of Investors. More information is available here.

Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda: Villgro Africa is calling for innovative start-ups with solutions that address lack of access to quality and affordable health services and technologies in low-income populations across Africa. Pan-African opportunities
Applications remain open for Y Combinator’s Summer 2022 cycle, taking place from June to August 2022. Selected start-ups will receive up to $500,000 in equity funding from the globally renowned accelerator. Apply here.

The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation and U.S. African Development Foundation have launched a business accelerator program to support early growth-stage businesses in sub-Saharan Africa. MEST Africa is taking applications for the 2023 cohort of its 12-month technology and entrepreneurship training program. Entrepreneurs-in-training form start-ups with co-founders within their cohort and pitch their business idea for up to $100,000 in seed funding, business incubation, and a lifetime of support from MEST Africa’s global community of experts and founders.
