Geography-specific opportunities 

Kenya & Rwanda: The JASIRI Growth Accelerator is accepting applications to its three-month virtual program aimed at helping start-ups fast-track growth. Selected start-ups will receive $75,000, with the possibility of additional funding from JASIRI co-investors. Apply here.

Ghana, Kenya, TanzaniadeveloPPP Ventures supports early-stage innovative businesses that are impacting sustainable development goals, including health. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development will provide selected start-ups with €100,000 in grants via a matching-funds model. More information is available here.

Kenya, Nigeria, South AfricaGoogle Hustle Academy is taking applications from early-stage businesses for a free one-week business development boot-camp. Participating companies will receive live training sessions, mentorship and masterclasses by subject matter experts. Pan-African opportunities 

Social & Inclusive Business Camp 2022 is taking applications for the sixth cohort of this acceleration and capacity building programme for high-impact African entrepreneurs. Selected businesses will participate in a three-month virtual program and gain access to the program’s network of investors. More information is available here.

The Jaza Rift Ventures Fund is seeking start-ups with scalable digital health solutions that have high-growth potential. The fund invests between $200,000 to $2 million in equity funding and venture debt to pre-seed, seed and Series A stage healthcare start-ups across the continent. Apply here.

Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards 2022 is seeking applications from women-run and women-owned impact-driven businesses. The top three businesses in each region, including Africa, will share $190,000 in grant awards, and receive human and social capital support.. Apply here.
