Investing in Innovation, a pan-African initiative to support the commercialization and impact of African health supply chain innovators, is seeking applications for its second cohort. Selected early and growth-stage start-ups will receive $50,000 in risk-tolerant grant funding and targeted access to market support to accelerate their scale. Apply here.
The program is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and sponsored by AmerisourceBergen, Merck Sharpe & Dohme (MSD), Microsoft, and Chemonics.

Geography-specific opportunities
Kenya: The Standard Chartered Women in Technology Incubator is taking applications from women founders seeking incubation and mentorship support for their businesses. Selected start-ups will take part in a 12-week program and receive grant funding and network access support. More information is available here.

Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania: develoPPP Ventures is seeking applications from companies with “whose innovative business model improves living conditions in a developing or emerging country.” Selected start-ups will receive up to €100,000 in grants to support their scale and growth. Pan-African opportunities
Google for Start-ups Growth Academy: AI for Health, a hybrid program to support health start-ups leveraging AI to accelerate healthcare access, is accepting applications. Selected start-ups for the three-month program will receive equity-free support, access to Google’s resources as well leadership training, workshops and events led by Google experts to develop strategies for growth. USAID and Project Last Mile are seeking enterprises with innovations that address disease prevention and/or control. Selected start-ups may be eligible for up to $200,000 in grants and will be matched with subject matter experts to provide technical assistance to scale their innovations.
