Geography-specific opportunities 

Ghana and Uganda: The Local Health System Sustainability project is looking to provide grants and technical assistance to digital innovators in Ghana and Uganda. The award will focus on opportunities to expand access to family planning commodities specifically, and where opportunities exist, essential health commodities generally. More information is available here.

Zambia: Promising early-stage businesses can apply for funding to the Zambia Business Angels Network, a group of private individuals and investors. In addition to capital, the network also offers access to expertise support and networks for selected businesses. Apply here.

Pan-African opportunities

FAST Accelerator is seeking promising startups primed to scale and expand within Africa for its next cohort. Selected startups will participate in a 7-week program, including intensive in-person sessions in Silicon Valley, and receive dedicated venture funding support as well as network access. More information is available here.

Social enterprises seeking pro-bono legal assistance can apply to TrustLaw, a program of Thomson Reuters Foundation. TrustLaw provides legal assistance through a vast legal network, comprised of law firms and in-house legal teams from 180 countries.  Apply here

ASIP Accelerator Program is seeking African startups disrupting major industries for its fourth cohort. Among other sectors, digital health startups are eligible to apply. Participating startups will receive $18,000 in cash, and $750k+ in access credits from leading technology providers such as AWS, Google, GitHub and more. Apply here.
