Globally, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly being applied across supply chain functions to make them more agile, responsive, and resilient.

Supply chain leaders need an efficient way to understand which AI solutions are positioned to generate practical impact in healthcare supply chains; what capabilities are required for successful adoption; and how to build toward AI readiness.

With support from the Gates Foundation, Salient Advisory is conducting a case study to provide supply chain leaders with an efficient way to understand which AI solutions are positioned to generate measurable and step-change impact in healthcare supply chains. This work will provide supply chain leaders with insights to improve their understanding of AI solutions in supply chains and considerations to improve their AI readiness and adoption through 2 outputs:

  • 2 interactive webinars in April 2026, showcasing AI solutions addressing critical supply chain challenges, with structured discussion on adoption requirements.
  • A 15-20-page analysis providing a landscape of solutions matched to identified supply chain problems, detailed profiles on 4 solution examples, and audience-specific implications for governments, global health institutions, supply chain service providers, and AI innovators. The report will be published on our website in June 2026.

To do this, we’re seeking input from supply chain managers and leaders across governments and global health institutions, to identify their most pressing challenges; problems which, if resolved, would deliver the most gains to supply chain management.
