Geographic-specific opportunities

South Africa: The SAB Foundation is accepting applications for its 2026 Social Innovation and Disability Empowerment Awards. The program targets South African innovators developing practical solutions for women, youth, rural populations and people living with disabilities. Selected innovators will receive grant funding of $19,000 – $63,000, alongside tailored mentorship and business development support. More information on eligibility criteria and application details can be found here.

Pan-African opportunities 

Applications are open for the 2026 Google for Startups Accelerator Africa program. Selected innovators will participate in a 3-month program and receive equity-free support, Google Cloud credits, expert mentorship and tailored technical training. Apply here.

Morgan Stanley Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures (MSISV) accelerator is accepting applications from early-stage startups and nonprofits building solutions across health, environment, economic empowerment, and education. Selected organizations will receive access to equity and grant funding (value not specified), a 5-month accelerator program with tailored mentorship, access to Morgan Stanley’s global network of advisors, investors and experts, and opportunities for strategic partnerships. The Evidence for AI in Health (EVAH) initiative is funding real-world evaluations of AI-enabled clinical decision support tools in sub-Saharan Africa and select Asian geographies. Selected organizations will receive grants of up to $3 million. Eligible applicants include research institutions, NGOs, governments, and evaluation-ready AI-enabled healthtech innovations. Madica, an investment program for pre-seed stage companies in Africa, is accepting applications. Selected innovators will participate in a 12-18 month program and receive up to $200,000 in equity investment. More information can be found here.
