UgandaThe Global Fund has released a new Request for Proposal titled Increasing Access to Quality-Assured Health Products in Uganda through Alternative Delivery Channels (TGF-25-17). The initiative aims to expand access to quality-assured HIV prevention and malaria care products through private pharmacies and drug shops. More information is available here.

Nigeria: Applications are open for Antler Nigeria, an accelerator for early-stage start-ups. Selected individuals and teams will access mentorship, coaching, and investment opportunities of up to $400,000. Individuals selected for the 8-week Lagos program can pitch for a $100,000 investment, with additional funding support available. Kenya, Rwanda: The Jasiri Growth Accelerator is accepting applications from entrepreneurs with market-creating innovations dedicated to solving complex challenges across several sectors, including health. Southern Africa: The Transform Health Fund, launched by the Health Finance Coalition and AfricInvest, is inviting healthcare companies to apply for debt or mezzanine investments ranging from $2 million – $15 million. The fund aims to support supply chain transformation, innovative care delivery, and digital innovations to improve access, affordability, resilience, and quality of healthcare for low-income patients. Pan-African opportunities 

Applications are open for the Equalizer Challenge: Scaling Women’s Health Innovations by UNFPAMIT SolveIE University, and Women of Wearables to support scalable women’s health innovations. Women-led social enterprises operating in UNFPA program countries can apply to receive up to $20,000 in equity-free funding, mentorship, and global exposure. Learn more here.

The UNICEF Venture Fund is accepting applications from early-stage innovators leveraging AI, data science, and blockchain to improve health, economic, and social outcomes for women and girls. Accepted femtech solutions will receive up to $100,000 equity-free funding. More information is available here.

Applications are open for the 2025 Google for Startups Accelerator Africa program. Selected innovators will participate in a 3-month program and receive equity-free support, up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits, expert mentorship, and tailored technical training.
