Geography-specific opportunities 

EgyptDMZ Cairo is accepting applications from early-stage start-ups for its sector agnostic incubator program. Selected founders will access guidance from program mentors, peer-to-peer sessions and expert-led workshops. Apply here.

Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, UgandaUnconventional Capital is seeking applications for fundraising from early-stage founders in listed countries. Unconventional Capital invests ticket sizes of between €10,000 and €50,000 through its “remote, data-driven, and mainly automated process.” More information is available here.

West and Central AfricaGrowth4Her is accepting applications from women founders for its six-month investor readiness accelerator program. Participating founders will benefit from access to market support, mentorship and investor readiness training. More information is available here.

Pan-African opportunities 

Hello Tomorrow‘s Global Challenge, an international start-up competition, is seeking applications from innovators, including biotech and pharmaceutical start-ups. Selected finalists will connect with global industry experts and investors, and compete for a share of €150,000 in prize money. More information is available here.

HealthTech Hub Africa, a healthtech accelerator founded by the Novartis Foundation, has launched its second Africa HealthTech Challenge. The accelerator is seeking “high-impact innovators with business-to-government focused solutions and business models that have the potential to drive transformational population health impact at scale for Africa.” More information is available here.
